Social bullying is when someone acts with the intent to ruin someone's reputation and relationships. Social Bullying is usually more subtle and is harder to detect. 

Where can it happen?

Social bullying can occur In any environment where people interact and form social groups, regardless of age. Places where Social bullying occurs are schools, the workplace, friend groups, and neighbourhoods. 

Examples of Social Bullying

Examples of social bullying include exclusion. Social bullying tends to happen in the form of Exclusion. young children, teens, and adults can face problems such as these. But there are many more types of examples, such as speeding rumours to damage someone's reputation, and nonverbal cues. These types of bullying have a lasting effect on a person and cause more harm than thought.

The Effects of Social Bullying

 The Effects of social bullying is less subtle than physical bullying. It has a much longer-lasting effect on a person's overall life while it also causes low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Victims usually try to run from all social situations in life because of the fear of being humiliated. Social bullying is often invisible but has a lasting emotional scar on a person that can destroy their sense of identity in the future. These scars may never truly heal and are the reason people refuse to speak up and defend themselves in future situations.
