What is Physical Bullying?

Physical bullying is when someone uses their body to harm another person. This can be by kicking, punching, pushing or damaging their property. This bullying has a vast effect on A person's body but their mind too. This site will explain the effects of physical bullying and how to avoid it.


Where can it happen?

 Physical Bullying usually occurs in places with little to no adult supervision. This makes it easier for the bully to behave without getting caught. Common places include the playground, school buses, athletic fields, and even parks or neighbourhoods. This environment usually give bullies an opportunity to target students while educators, parents, coaches, and trusted adults are not there to interfere. 




Examples of Physical Bullying

Physical bullying could be pushing, shoving, and hitting. There are more examples, such as threatening someone or vandalizing their property.


The Effects of Physical Bullying

Physical Bullying has a lasting effect on a person's health physically and mentally. Did you know that in the last 2 months 20.8% of bullying was physical. Victims often endure physical pain such as bruises, cuts or worse but have a higher chance of health risk due to the on going stress and pain of physical bullying. Although this is   terrible and no one should have to go through this The physical effect is the smallest problem. Victims more often that not go  through depression, anxiety, helplessness, worthlessness and constant fear. This decreases self esteem and causes Trauma that causes fear of relationships. These are the effects of physical Bullying.
